Chinese contemporary artists are drawing world's attention with many of them emerge from various art exhibitions around the globe. Among them is Guo Jian, who is held in many important collections including the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
Born in southwest China's Guizhou province, Guo went to Beijing to study art in 1985. Later he migrated to Australia and came back to Beijing again in 2005.
Now Guo Jian is living a happy and busy life in Songzhuang artist village in eastern suburban Beijing.
