China, Japan should enhance mutual trust, cooperation: Wang Yi
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged China and Japan to provide more stability and certainty to the world by enhancing mutual trust and cooperation.
Wang met Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba in Tokyo.
He said the meeting between the two countries’ leaders in Lima has injected impetus for the development of China-Japan relations.
Wang called on Japan to send the right signal to the world, as this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
Ishiba said Japan fully recognizes the significance of the four political documents between the two countries and it is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China.
The meeting came ahead of the 11th China-Japan-South Korea Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on Saturday.

Saada Province serves as the main stronghold of the Houthi group.

They also urged all parties to re-engage with negotiations to push for a full and permanent ceasefire.

Families of 42 freed Israeli hostages and more than 250 relatives of those still held in Gaza have demanded an immediate ceasefire.
They accused Israeli officials of sacrificing captives to prolong the conflict.
