China's embassy in Myanmar says at least five Chinese nationals have died in the 7.9-magnitude earthquake last week.

The total number of deaths in Myanmar has surpassed 3,100 as of Friday afternoon.

Clean up and repair are underway in Nay Pyi Taw.
