A Chinese rescue team has helped save a survivor from a collapsed building in the capital of Myanmar after a devastating earthquake jolted the country.
The survivor has been trapped under rubble for nearly 40 hours.
The quake has so far killed 1700 people and injured 3,400 others.
Thirteen Chinese nationals were among the injured.
The Chinese team from Yunnan arrived in Myanmar on Saturday morning.
China has decided to provide Myanmar with 100 million yuan or over 13 million U.S. dollars in emergency humanitarian aid.
Meanwhile, China's national search and rescue team is still on the way from Yangon to Mandalay, the hardest hit city in the earthquake.
The journey will take around 14 hours due to highway damage caused by the quake.
The 82-member Chinese rescue team is equipped with heavy equipment and life detectors to search for survivors.
