The 8th China Arts Festival, the largest means for Chinese performers to showcase their latest creations, has opened in Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei province.

President Hu Jintao's work of paper-cutting, titled 'Getting Home', will be presented at the eighth China Arts Festival beginning on November 5 in central China's Hubei Province.

Wuhan has been known as the 'Thoroughfare to Nine Provinces'. As one of the biggest commercial centers in inland China, Wuhan has strong commercial distribution ability and a vast potential market.

Hubei got her name from her location in the middle reach of the Yangtze River and to the north of Dongting Lake and "E" is her short form.
