Mark is the co-host of
the morning edition of China Drive. He has previously worked
in both radio and TV as a reporter and sports anchor in his
native country of Canada. Initially Mark came to Beijing on
vacation but when the opportunity arose to work and live in
China he happily accepted it. The faster pace of life and the
"absolute chaos" he encounters on the streets of Beijing
are what he cites as the "simple pleasures" of living
in China. He hopes to visit all over the country and meet many
of the loyal listeners, whom he is so thankful to for tuning
in. In Mark's own words, his words to live by are: "You
see...it takes great skill and talent to conceal one's skill
and talent. Hey, wait a minute...how come I've never had that
problem? You're not gonna print this are you?"
