An attack alarm that went off by accident caused widespread panic at Guangzhou's Baiyun International Airport late last week, according to chinanews.com.
|
The alarm, which was in a passenger's luggage, went off as it passed through an X-ray machine.
Passengers and airport staff scattered as the alarm shrieked.
Chen, the alarm's embarrassed owner, later explained that she had forgot to switch it off.
She was later allowed to board her flight after ensuring that the offending article was no longer in a position to cause alarm.
