The first park for dogs on Taiwan Island formally opened on May 20. Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou attended the inauguration ceremony.
This Dajia Riverside Park is located at the Dajia section of the Keelung River on the Riverside Street in Taipei. It covers one acre of area and is fenced so that dogs can be unleashed to run and play in the park.
A Taipei citizen was happily walking his dog at the park.
