Aiming to create a more favorable climate for students to learn in universities in Shanghai have begun to make efforts to regulate students' behavior in class.
|
The Xinwen Evening News reports Donghua University in Shanghai has recently released a regulation saying students who are found to be using mobile phones and MP3 players, which is considered disruptive to the class, will be disqualified from model student awards.
Those who intentionally repeat the offences will receive warnings from the school and will not be allowed to apply for tuition loans.
Authorities at the university say this is one of a series of 10 regulations intended to improve students' in-class behavior.
