Publicize Your Embarrassment on Website
2006-03-02 10:15:50    Chinaview.cn
A new website is quite popular recently among some young netizens that entertain people by exposing one's embarrassing stories or seeing others' embarrassing stories online.

Under the belief that everybody has their embarrassing stories, many young people are eager to log on the so-called "the funniest website on earth" to share with others the embarrassing moments that occurred at schools, in offices, at fast food restaurants or at one's mother-in-law's. Founder of the website "datou" urges people to tell their embarrassments to others since "to hide those in heart will do no good to one's health".

Netizens even set a gold, silver and bronze prize for these embarrassing incidents. A friend of  "datou" said he liked the website very much, "I used to post my embarrassments on campus forum when I was at school. Now I find a new place to share these with others…Things that are posted here are simple and not dirty. We do it just for fun."

There are other people who log on the website for releasing their bad mood. A reporter once noticed 2,000 people logging on the website at the same time making complaints to others. Most of their problems are related with social issues, work, one's love affairs and family issues.

Although not everybody enjoys exposing one's unhappy moments or seeing other people's embarrassing things, the number of people who like to do this kind of things is on the rise.
