Car Renting Business Hot in Shanghai
2006-02-03 11:18:36    CRIENGLISH.com
Going out and driving around is not a bad way of spending the Spring Festival holiday.

The Shanghai Oriental Morning Post reports that the car rental business is booming in the city as many people choose to rent a car to travel by themselves.

Shanghai's Jinjiang Taxi company has prepared over 1500 vehicles for rental, and over 30 percent of them are for short trips.

Another local vehicle leasing company, An Feishi, says people started to book vehicles one month before the spring festival and economy vehicles are the most popular.

The paper says many people are tired of social engagements during the spring festival, and are more interested in arranging to spend the precious holidays by themselves.
