Chinastic (C): The Mid-Autumn Festival is also called the what festival? Ben (B): I don't know. Hmm... Moon Festival?
C: Why do you think it's called Moon Festival? B: It has to do with the moon. Maybe there'll be a full moon?
C: Do you have a similar festival in London? B: Yeah. Some people celebrate the harvest time. We call it the harvest festival.
C: Have you tried any moon cakes? B: I haven't eaten a single moon cake. It's my intention to try one this year though; that's why I came to Beijing.
C: Did you know there are all different kinds of moon cake? B: No. I thought they were all the same.
C: Do you know any Moon Festival legends? B: No, I haven't heard of any.
C: There's one moon festival story about Chang E. She was a beautiful women who was said to live on the moon. Why do you think? B: Hmm. Because she stole the harvest and the moon punished her?
C: Do you want to see how the moon cake is made? B: Why not, it's better than working. But I hadn't thought about making moon cakes myself... I think making moon cakes might be quite enjoyable.
