Nigeria's Goodluck Jonathan achieved an overwhelming victory in the recent presidential election declared largely free and fair by all observers. Yet, over 800 people have died as activitist from the Muslim North have clashed with Activist from the Christian South. On May 29th Mr. Jonathan was sworn in as President yet still violenced continued with at least 14 being killed across the country. Today we look at the causes of violence and the future of Africa's most populous nation.
