The first of its kind in Hong Kong, the exhibition was co-sponsored by the Information Office of China's State Council and the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
The exhibition features many activities including a series of Buddhist rituals and exhibitions, marking the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Tibet Autonomous Region.
The Tibet Autonomous Regional Song and Dance Ensemble will first give an informal public performance free of charge on Sunday afternoon to allow local residents to enjoy the unique charm of Tibetan culture.
About sixteen living Buddhas will carry out religious rituals during the cultural week to pray for peace and stability and bring prosperity to Buddhist believers.
Pictures, rare Tibetan cultural relics and Tibetan scroll paintings will also be on display during the cultural week.
Visitors will also be able to watch TV programmes on the beautiful natural scenery of the region as well as on the cultural variety and historical social changes in Tibet.
