Super Dan Becomes China's 1st Active Badminton Player with a Master's Degree

China's top badminton player Lin Dan accepted his master's degree at Huaqiao University on Wednesday afternoon, October 17, 2012, becoming China's first active badminton player with a master's degree.

China's top badminton player Lin Dan accepted his master's degree at Huaqiao University on Wednesday afternoon, October 17, 2012, becoming China's first active badminton player with a master's degree.

According to Xiamen News, Lin attended an appraisal ceremony by the university to commend 4 badminton players attending the London Olympics, including Lin Dan, Li Xuerui, Kan Long and Wang Xin. After the ceremony, Jia Yimin, president of Huaqiao University, awarded the master's degree to Lin, and Lin presented his badminton suits from the London Olympics as a gift to the university.

Lin said it was a rare chance for him to get together with his university teachers and other students. He hoped that his teachers and students would support him in the future, and he said he would try his best at the 2016 Brazil Olympics.
