The Spanish football club Real Madrid plans to visit China in 2010 with their heavyweight players, their third visit since the team's first China tour in 2003, the Legal Evening News reports.
The Spanish powerhouse's tour is one of the top-level sporting events to be held in Beijing next year.
Real Madrid's China tour organizer GreatGate said the team will come to China after the World Cup in Africa, and play two international games during their stop.
The world's most expensive football player, Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, and Brazilian playmaker Kaka are expected to join Real's star-studded side.
Real Madrid beat Chinese Dragon four nil in Beijing during their first Asian tour in 2003. They also upset hosts Beijing Hyundai three two in a friendly match in 2005.
Besides the visit of Real Madrid, the year 2010 will also see a series of world-level tournaments to be held in Beijing, which include the World Martial Arts Games, Table Tennis Euro-Asia All Star Series, World Snooker China Open, Italian Super Cup and Tennis China Open.
