Massage 

Massage is to apply manipulation on the channels of human body, thus preventing disease and keeping healthy.

Guided by Chinese medicine theory and dialectical principle, massage is able to cure diseases without the need to take pills or herbal medicine. It is easy to operate and does not have side effects. It can be applied to cure many diseases. Yet people most often use massage to cure diseases of cervical vertebra, psoatic strain, herniated disc, soft tissue damage.

Standard manipulation and special skills are needed to do massage. The strength used should be persistent, strong, well-distributed, mild, deep and thorough. Hand is most often used for massage but foot, forearm elbow and special tools can also do. Sometimes doctors apply some substances on the body, such as ointment, milk-like liquid, wintergreen, safflower oil, sesame oil, talcum powder, or other lubrication oil. The ways to do massage vary, such as pulling, pushing, finger pushing, rubbing, knocking, etc. One can massage by oneself or have others massage on one. Passive massage is for the purpose of treating disease, including child massage, bone massage, Qi Gong massage. Self-massage is for the purpose of keeping healthy, such as eye massage, arms and legs massage, massage for stomach health, and massage for soothing the nerves.
