Genghis Khan's Mausoleum
The mausoleum is made up of four palaces in the shape of Mongolian yurts, glorious and imposing with rounded roofs and glazed tiles inlayed golden eaves.

Travel Tips

Baotou is the largest city in Inner Mongolia, it is linked with Hohhot by express way.	Baotou is accessible by both plane and train. Buses are used to reach nearby sights.	Most of the best restaurants are to be found in Donghe, the eastern section of Baotou.
The best time to visit Baotou is from late spring through the summer.	Baotou itself is not a haven for travellers, it does not have any hotels that are of first class facility or price.	There are few to buy in the city. But some local products are still worthy to be recommended here.
