Transforming Monastery
Solemn and imposing, the buildings of the oldest and largest temple in the Jiuhua Mountain rise gradually with the sloping land.

Mount Jiuhuashan is full of waterfalls, streams, exotic-looking boulders, ancient caves, old pines and exuberant bamboo. Travel Tips

Jiuhuashan is located south of the Yangtze River, in southern part of Auhui province.	Remote as it is, Jiuhuashan is fairly easy to access from most cities and major towns in the region.	As a holy Buddhist mountain, the vegetarian cuisine here is quite famous.
Optimal time for climbing the mountain is in the summer period, May/June to August/September.	Jiuhuashan's accommodation is fairly cheaply priced, although more expensive than the surrounding area.	Thanks to its unique climate, Jiuhuashan is one of the better places in China for the cultivation of tea.
