Wuxi: a Pearl by the Taihu Lake

A well-known tourist city in southern Jiangsu Province, Wuxi has the Taihu Lake to the south, the Changing River to the north, and the Grand Canal flowing through the city proper. The city has a combination of the beauty of rivers, lakes, and springs. One of the most awe-inspiring sights in Wuxi, or in the whole Jiangsu Province, is the Great Buddha at Lingshan. The largest statue of the Buddha in the world, this bronze colossus stands 88 meters tall.
