Benxi Water Cave is a huge cave system located at the Taizi River. It is a part of the Benxi Water Cave National Park. As Benxi Cave is a river cave, most of the cave visit is done by boat. At the cave entrance is an underground wharf where the visitors enter the boats. The pier is rather big and up to 40 boats are berthed here.

The cave river is really enormous. With an average production of 230 liter per second. The river is up to 7 meters deep and the passage is up to 38 meters high and 50 meters wide. In the huge entrance hall, a chamber which is 50 meters long and 20 meters wide, and some 3000-year-old human remains were found there. The cave has an underground river with water so clear that the riverbed is always visible. The visitors take a ride on the sightseeing boat to explore the magic and mystery of the stalactite formations that have formed over millions of years.

Benxi Water Cave National Park is a unique wonderland of pastoral beauty that has captured the imagines and hearts of its visitors throughout the ages.
