CRI reporter Yan Yinan visited Norway this October, a country located in northern Europe and not a familiar destination to most Chinese tourists. Here, Yinan will unveil a real Norway to us with her interesting account of her most unforgettable experiences, together with breath-taking photos.   

Day 1 Autumn in Norway
Yinan's arrival in Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. A thriving economic and trading port, Bergen lies on the southwest coast of Norway, among seven mountains and seven fjords. It is at Bergen that Yinan heard the Norwegian saying: "there is no bad weather, only bad clothes..." [Full Text]

Day 2 The Sea Gives & It Takes

 found a boating trip out in the sea is no amusement park, and her boat was like a tiny cork flowing up and down in midst of the endless ocean. She got a clearer view on what a fisherman's life looks like, and the principle "You got to play by the rules with the sea, never go against it." Day 3 The Soul of the Trolls
Local people told Yinan that trolls capture human beings, but they are slow-minded and generally perceived as naive and good-natured so they are easily tricked by human beings. But are Trolls just imagination of the rustic Mountain people?[Full Text]

Day 4 Independent Women, Higher Position
Yinan found many women are working in higher positions in Norway, and they are happy and successful. She found it amazing! Why are most women in Norway independent and share more powers with men? [Full Text]
