The grand Shuduhai lake is one of the largest lakes in the Shangri-la region. This lake area is hardly visited by tourists and thus retains a natural and unpolluted beauty. Rent a car for about 40 yuan to get to the lake. The best time for visiting is from September to November, the short period during which it is possible to avoid the unremitting rain of summer and the frost of winter. You can easily spend half a day enjoying the lake's nature and photographing scenery.
