Mt. Muztagh Ata
In local languages, "Muztagh Ata" means "Ice Mountain's Father". It's a favorite and attempted by dozens of skiers and climbers yearly.
Abakh Hoja Tomb

Lake Karakuri
Lake Karakuri is located at the foot of the Mushitage Glacier east of the Pamirs in Xinjiang. It is the largest among many lakes in the Pamirs, both wide and deep.
Kashi Grand Bazaar
The Kashi Grand Bazaar is the busiest part of the city. The market is a kind of agricultural market, that has expanded to include anything you can think of.
This is a narrow, quiet lane. The road is lined with houses of one or two storied built of adobe or red brick. It is Saturday. A group of Uygur children are playing, bringing a joyful atmosphere to the quiet bane. At the end of the lane, a sign reading "Vegetable Bazaar Lane" reminds people of its past. The bazaar no longer exists, and people can only imagine the brisk scene here in the old days...

Travel Tips
Kashi, in Uygur meaning "a place of jade", is located in the southwest of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Kashi is the westernmost city of China. There are three main transportations: plan, train and bus. Xinjiang food has much more of a Central Asian flavour than a Chinese taste, such as Rost Fish.
Kashi has a long summer and much sunshine. The best time to travel is berween August and September. The hotel industry in Kashi has developed mainly to cater to both tourists in the area and to Pakistani traders. In Kashi you can buy some local interesting items, including Xinjiang hats, knives, jewelry, etc.
