Throughout Tibet
Ngari is famous as the top of the roof of the world. The area has many lakes but less people and is a paradise of kinds of wildlife. Shigatse,also Xigatse,means "fertile land", is the second largest city in Tibet featured its famous Tashilhunpo Monastery built in 1447- the seat of the Panchen Lama.
In Shannan, visitors can see many famous Tibetan monasteries such as Samyae Monastery. The Hot Spring in Piga, Chim-puk Herinitage and Yonbulagang Palace are very popular. Chamdo used to be an important pass along the ancient Tea Horse Path. Here Qiangbalin Monastery, Zezhol Monastery, Karub Ruins and Chamoling Wild Deer Domestication attract more and more visitors and worshippers.
