Kangding
Kangding is where mountains and clouds make friends and play together. It is home to love songs, such as the following: "At the place where I can see you, My eyes are glued on yours. At the place where I cannot see you, My heart is linked with yours."

The Tibetan inhabited area of Sichuan Province is the northern route of the ancient Tea Horse Path, and the Kangding city was a very influential trade post in ancient China. It used to be the most important market of Tea-horse trade in the past .The nomadic Tibetan came here to exchange their animals or animal products with Chinese Han people trading tea.
Gongar Mountain

Gonggar Mountain towers over southeastern Kangding, and is regarded as the "king of the mountain kingdom" in Sichuan. It is the protecting deity for people of the Tibetan ethnic group. The mountain is perennially under snow. Its glaciers and vegetation combine to make it ideal place for scientific survey, mountaineering and sightseeing.
