Cross-border e-commerce has been booming in China as the country's rising middle class scours the global market for premium goods. Now, a new tax policy is being rolled out for deliveries made through cross-border e-commerce platforms. Under this new tax, most purchases made overseas will be levied with a higher tax rate.

So how will the new tax policy affect cross-border e-commerce? How can businesses and consumers adapt to the new changes?
