How do we trust each other online? Do you need to see my eyes? Or do you need to touch? The artist duo, Karen Lancel and Hermen Maat, is creating intimate rituals, and let people in different places to feel and react.

In the newly opened Beijing Culture and Art Center or BCAC, the artists are demonstrating one such installation, and ask the audience to save the images of their faces with others, and upload them onto the net.

By doing similar experiment, the Dutch artists have researched for years the emotional and social tension with trust, privacy and visibility to reflect on techno-social changes.

Here is the sit down talk which ends at the question of whether we can keep the original meaning of people meeting each other by technology, while there is the worldwide paradox of "the higher surveillance, and lower trust"?
