2013-11-25 Detailed policies unveiled during the 3rd Plenum

Panel discussion:
When we last discussed Third Plenum a couple of weeks back, all we had was a piece of document that outlined briefly what the Chinese government plans to do for the next ten years. But, and as expected, more details are now in the public domain and these policies have already been described as the "boldest reforms", and "better than anyone dared to hope." So, what are the details- we'll spend the next hour picking away at some of these including a relaxation of the one-child policy, land reform and judicial reform and see just how bold these reforms truly are.

-Victor Gao, current affairs commentator

Global Talks:
Today we are debating an Iran nuclear deal has been agreed by the major world powers; the Afghan president insists on a delay in signing the US security pact; Thousands of Ukrainians protest over the scrapping of the EU trade deal; a compromise is reached on the UN climate talks but with few genuine breakthroughs; and Swiss voters say no to capping executives' bonus pay and much much more.
