2013-05-28 Has Apple Lost its Mojo?
    2013-05-27 18:58:40     CRIENGLISH.com         Web Editor: Chen Cong

Apple certainly has seen its better days when its share prices hit record highs and the company became the most valuable one in the world. But that didn't last long. The company's share price has dropped by some 40 percent since it reached its peak in September 2012. This is partially due to a lack of powerful products, which can continue to woo consumers and also a result of growing competition in the market, notably, from its arch rival Samsung.

Samsung, with its Galaxy series, has quickly eroded iPhone's share in the upscale smart phone market. Its latest flagship model, the Galaxy S4, has become Samsung's fastest-selling smart phone ever with shipments topping 6 million units in two weeks. But despite the already white-hot competition in the smart phone market, other high-flying companies are also joining the competition. Lenovo, for instance, has teamed up with Intel to release its latest high-end smart phone, K900, which runs an Intel dual-processor.

So what will the growing competition bring to the global smart phone market? And how do experts look at the performance of China's smart phone makers?
