Is the global economic downturn opening a window for Chinese enterprises to expand their overseas markets and how much difficulty will they face abroad?

I posed these questions to Kerry Brown, senior fellow of the Asia program with London-based Chatham House. In his new thesis; 'Chinese Overseas Direct Investment and the Economic Crisis', Brown predicts economic integration between China and the West will deepen as the economic downturn continues.
