France Reports 16 Confirmed Cases of A/H1N1 Flu

The Institut de Veille Sanitaire ( INVS) announced on Tuesday that there have been 16 confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 in France.

According to reports of the French media, all the 16 cases are imported, 11 from Mexico and 5 from the United States. Among the patients, 15 are already out of the hospital. No severe symptoms were observed, said the INVS.

According to statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO) , there are now 9,830 A/H1N1 flu infections with 79 deaths in 40 countries and regions.
