The report said the gendarmery teams seized 461 kg of hashish in their operations in Lice town of southeastern province of Diyarbakir between Feb. 16 and 22.

Acting on a tip-off, the gendarmery forces also impounded 3.5 kg of hashish in Islahiye town of the southeastern province of Gaziantep on Wednesday, it said.

A total of five suspects were detained in connection with the haul, it added.
