Snooker world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan snatched a confident 6-2 win over compatriot Ali Carter at Wembley Masters.
O'Sullivan, the triple winner of this Wembley event, was 3-2 ahead in the best-of-11 frame semi-final when a 128-clearance gave him a 4-2 advantage.
Further breaks of 115 and 91 in the next two frames gave the world number one a last-four clash against Stephen Maguire who put out Australia's Neil Robertson 6-3.
Saturday's other semi-final sees defending champion Mark Selby playing John Higgins of Scotland.
