Dacheng Law Offices, which is reportedly the largest law firm in China, opened a branch on Wall Street, New York City, the China News Service reports.

Dacheng's new office in New York will mainly focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, listing, asset management, intellectual property rights cases and law suits related to trade protectionism, according to the report.

Xiao Jinquan, a senior partner at Dacheng, said that it is crucial for the law firm to establish the new office in the post-crisis era, since more and more Chinese enterprises are casting their eyes on Wall Street due to the rapid recovery of China's economy and highly complementary economic portfolios between China and the United States.

As one of the first partnership law firms in China, Dacheng Law Offices was founded in 1992. The Beijing-based law firm has more than 1,600 lawyers on the Chinese mainland, and has opened branch offices in several countries and regions including France, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
