Related web management regulations will be made to clarify the responsibilities of website operators and the city's 6 million web users to guarantee web security.
Chinese instant messenger QQ groups, microblogs and short message service of the citizens will also be under surveillance.
A real-name web registration system was introduced in China last May 1 when eastern Hangzhou city started requiring local web users to register with a valid identification before participating in local chat rooms and forums. |
