China Radio International (CRI) is launching an official multilanguage e-magazine for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

"Charm of A City," designed and produced by CRI, presents a panoramic view of the Shanghai Expo for global readers through a rich combination of high-resolution pictures, official video clips and refined writing.
The e-magazine, capturing the main Expo theme of "Better City, Better Life" also endeavors to highlight how Shanghai's development can elevate the happiness of its residents through a variety of columns, such as City Stories, Numbers Talk, News Update, World's Pavilions, Guest Interviews, Commentaries and History Reviews.

The e-magazine will be issued monthly during the preparatory stage of the Shanghai Expo, while during the Expo, it will be updated every two weeks.

Netizens can read three different language versions of the e-magazine in Chinese, English and French either through online browsing or downloading.

The Shanghai World Expo will begin on May 1 and run until October 31, 2010. As of today, 192 countries and 50 international organizations have confirmed their participation in the event.

CRI, as a media partner of the Shanghai Expo, is committed to providing comprehensive coverage of Expo events to global audiences by integrating news sources.

Meanwhile, CRIonline, the official website of CRI, will present live broadcasts of some of the important Expo activities through multiple languages and dialects. CRIonline will also serve as a platform for global netizens to interact with each other and provide contests for them to enter.
