A one-year old baby girl has been rescued after slipping into a 30-meter deep well while playing alone in the absence of her parents Friday morning, in Heze City, east China's Shandong Province, Dazhong Daily reports.
The city's fire brigade, who were informed immediately, arrived at Xinji Village within 30 minutes of the accident to discover the sound of crying coming from the well. The baby was floating on the surface of the water six meters underground.
With a hook and a rope, 11 firemen and police were able to successfully pull the child out of the well.
The girl was swiftly sent to hospital where her health was judged not to be in serious danger. |
