People can find all the answers to these questions at the "Expo of Expos" display, which opens in Beijing on Sunday to mark kick-off of the 300-day countdown to 2010 World Expo.

The exhibition, aimed at promoting the Shanghai Expo, can be seen at Beijing's Capital Museum from July 5 and July 25. Visitors can learn about the preparation of the upcoming Shanghai World Expo as well as its 150-year history.

Zheng Guanying, China's pioneering thinker and reformer, first proposed to hold the Expo in Shanghai in 1894 when he wrote his famous book, Sheng-Shi-Wei-Yan. His dream will soon be realized when the 2010 World Expo kicks off on May 1, 2010.

Loscertales, the secretary general of the International Expositions Bureau, said in a speech at the opening ceremony that the World Expo is not only a gift from the host country's government to its own people, but also a means of creating cooperation between different countries.

By July 5, 2009, 239 countries and international organizations had confirmed participation in the 2010 Expo, which is expected to draw 70 million visitors from both home and abroad.

Visitors to the expo can look forward to seeing new and interesting products on display, as in the 1855 Paris Expo when the saxophone met with the international audience for the first time.
