The most impressive thing for Fang Changzhan during the 2009 World Stamp Exhibition was to come across the President of the Federation Internationale de Philatelie (FIP) Joseph Wolff.

The farmer from Yichuan County, Luoyang in central Henan Province told local media that its unanticipated and the communication with Joseph was really a surprising experience.

Fang said it's on April 12 that Mr. Joseph came to his booth at the exhibition where a large variety of duplicated bronze vessels were displayed and sold. But Fang failed to recognized Joseph at the beginning.

"My foreign visitors were attracted to my products at the exhibition and I didnt pay special attention to him when he stopped at my booth."

It's the exhibition's certificate on Joseph's chest showed his identity, Fang recalled.

Joseph showed great interest in Fang's craftworks and was fascinated with a Ding, a traditional Chinese cooking vessel that was usually made of bronze.

Fang said the duplicate was specially designed for the exhibition.

At last, Fang decided to present a special gift to Joseph, a bronze Zun highlighted with the carving of a couple of phoenix. In turn, delighted Joseph took photos with him and wrote down greetings to Fang.

The 2009 World Stamp Exhibition was held in Luoyang from April 10-16.
