South Korea thrashed Finland 4-0 in the opening game of the Four Nations Women's Soccer Tournament in Guangzhou in southern China's Guangdong Province on Saturday.
Striker Park Hee Young was the heroine of the night. She opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a powerful left-foot shot from the edge of the box, and grabbed another in the second period from a Finnish defender's mistake.
Midfielder Lee Eun Mi made a beautiful chip inside the area on 51 minutes, before substitute Go Tae Hwa sealed victory two minutes before the final whistle.
Finland had their best chance in the 11th minute, only to find Annica Sjolund's low drive hit the near post.
