Chinese actor Guo Tao, says he feels confident about his upcoming film "Where Are We Going, Dad?"

He's been promoting the film today (December 24) in Beijing, alongside the model Zhang Liang and his son Tian Tian.

The film is an extension of the reality TV show of the same name which is produced by Hunan Satellite TV.

Released in October, the series features five fathers, each with one of their children, who are set tasks in different places and environments.

It has an estimated viewership of 70 million per episode.

The film, which is the last episode of the TV show, was shot in a wild animal park in Guangzhou.

The five fathers and their children accept their "final mission" which takes place in a jungle with wild animals.

The movie has been compiled from 1000 hours of raw footage, in just a few months and Guo, famous for his role in the Chinese film "Crazy Stone," says he's very happy with what he's made:

"This film is essentially a reality show. Its production process is unique. I'm not worried about the techniques. According to my experience, I believe this film will open up a new area for Chinese film in certain aspects. I believe that the five fathers' acting skills and the contributions of the five children contribution will impress the audiences in a fresh way. "

The film is to hit Chinese screens on January 31st, 2014.
