Chinese Film Opens 2013 Berlinale

The 63rd Berlin International Film Festival opened on Thursday, February 7, 2013 with Chinese director Wong Kar-wai's martial-arts film "The Grandmaster".

Cast members of the film, Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Zhang Ziyi appeared together on the opening red carpet.

Director Wong Kar-wai is also the jury president for the main competition.

Winner of the top Golden Bear award will be announced at the closing ceremony on February 17.
