Costume comedy "Mr. & Mrs. Incredible" released a new set of a trailer and a poster on the last day of 2010.
The new trailer, with the theme "Nian Nian You Yu", which literally means there is fish to eat every year, is like the previous trailers that have no plot and contain no scene from the film. It was specially shot for the New Year, costing around 300,000 yuan (about US$44,000).
It shows the superhero couple, portrayed by Louis Koo and Sandra Ng, catching a big fish and trying to cook it.
Besides the trailer and poster, director Vincent Kok talks about the plot of the film for the first time. Louis Koo's character is a village government official and Sandra Ng stars as the wife of Koo's character and an owner of a small restaurant. Their true identities are kung-fu masters who own super power. They come to the small village to live an ordinary life but a martial-arts contest changes their lives and even threatens their marriage.
Kok says he is sure the audience will feel very relaxed after watching the movie. Though the cost of the film has exceeded 100 million yuan (about US$14.7 million), he is confident that the box office will not disappoint him.
The film is due out in theaters on January 31.
