"Loved," ("Ai Guo"), the theme song in Feng Xiaogang's latest romantic comedy, "If You Are the One 2" (Fei Cheng Wu Rao 2), was released in Beijing on Thursday, December 9, together with its music video.
Singer-composer Chen Chusheng and singer-actress An Yixuan attended the press conference. This is the third time the singer sang a theme song for films produced by Huayi Brothers since he signed a contract with the company in 2009. The previous films were "The Message" (Feng Sheng) and "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame" (Di Ren Jie Zhi Tong Tian Di Guo).
This time, Chen composed the song and wrote the lyrics.
Taiwan actress, An Yixuan, sang the song with Chen. An also stars as a TV host in the movie. An released her music album in 2007, however, it's the first time she sings for a film. In order to relieve her nervousness, she invited Chen to drink with her before recording.
"It's really hard for me, because I'm unprofessional, but Chen taught me line-by-line. He puts sincerity in this song and always pursues perfection" An said.
The film will hit cinemas on Dec. 22.
