Hong Kong director Jingle Ma held a grand premiere for his new movie, Mulan, in Beijing on Monday night.
The premiere took the form of a concert, with Jaycee Chan and Stefanie Sun invited to sing along with Vicky Zhao and Chen Kun, the two stars of the movie.
The historical epic is set for release across China on Nov. 27, joining in the fierce competition for the year-end market.
Also at the premiere, a project to support Chinese women entrepreneurs was inaugurated, with the hope of bringing up more modern women heroes like Mulan.
