The latest stills from the television drama "Secret Anecdotes of Yang Guifei", featuring vibrant colors and large-scale dance scenes, back up director You Xiaogang's claim that the Chinese epic will be a flamboyant portrait of the Tang Dynasty.
The drama is a biopic of Yang Yuhuan, better known as Guifei, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China. She was the beloved consort of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), one of the most remarkable chapters in China's cultural history.
Yin Tao plays Yang Guifei, with Anthony Wong as Xuanzong.
