A cainival tour aiming to promote environmental protection opens on Saturday on its first leg of Beijing's Haidian park.

Drawing hundreds of families to the carnival, the event became a bond between parents and their children.

To make the event vivid and interative, the organizers decorated all the recreation equipments with pictures and props of polar bears, penguins, trees and waters to highlight different environmental protection themes.

Volunteers are playing green-theme games with children while sending on environmental protection concepts to them, including global warming, climate change and deforestation.  

Co-sponsored by Amway (China) Co., Ltd and China Environmental Protection Foundation, the event will be taken to tens of other cities across China throughout the whole year.
