Hong Kong singer and actress Gillian Chung plans to courageously resume work this March, despite being implicated in the Edison Chan sex-photo scandal.
The singer, still reeling from the nude photo scandal which first surfaced early last year, has largely remained out of sight since the incident became public.
Chinese film star Edison Chen has confirmed the identities of some of the female victims involved in the scandal, under the request of Canada's British Columbia Supreme Court.
Other women caught up in the scandal include actress Cecilia Cheung, actress-singer Gillian Chung, former actress Bobo Chan and model-actress Rachel Ngan.
Media sources say that the Edison hearing has not affected Gillian's plans to restart her career in Hong Kong, although the exact date has not been confirmed.
Gillian plans to attend a publicity launch for a jeans brand in early March. She has signed several contracts to promote companies from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
On February 24, Chen attended a court hearing in Canada and testified against Ho Chun Sze, a computer technician who was allegedly responsible for posting the scandalous photos online.
The hearing was scheduled to take three to five days but wrapped up in just one day.
This official trial will take place in Hong Kong. Chen has refused to return to Hong Kong for the case, instead agreeing to testify in a Canadian court.
