To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Cambodian diplomatic relations, China Post has recently issued a new edition of the commemorative cover. To mark the anniversary, the image of Locana Buddha from Luoyang Longmen Grottoes and the image of Buddha in Bayon Temple of Angkor Wat are printed on the cover. The Cambodia Post also issues 4 stamps, one of which was featuring Luoyang Longmen Grottoes.

Featuring the anniversary, the cover is relatively special with images of the national flag, national emblem, the date of establishment of the diplomatic relationship, characters from both languages, country introductions, and other featured designs. By publishing the commemorative cover of diplomacy, the Henan branch of China Post helped the international city of tourism Luoyang to gain more appeal and promote cultural exchange overseas.

As an important city in the Silk Road Economic Belt, Luoyang has started to communicate with Cambodia since 1900 years ago. Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang was the milestone of Buddhist missions along the ancient Silk Road, it has also witnessed Buddhist localization in China.
